Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Lisuvo ("the app", "we") is developed and operated by Maksym Shupeikin, an individual developer, who is the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions, requests and complaints: support@lisuvo.app. A postal address is provided on request.

This policy explains what the app collects, what leaves your iPhone, who can see it, how long it is kept, and how to delete it.

2. What stays on your iPhone

  • Motion telemetry. The accelerometer, gyroscope and motion coprocessor (Core Motion) are sampled at 50 Hz while a ride is being measured. Raw samples are processed in memory on your iPhone and are never transmitted anywhere. Only the summary metrics and the two scores (Dynamics and Smoothness) survive the ride.
  • Ride history. Finished rides are stored in a file inside the app's own container. The last 100 rides are kept; older ones fall off automatically. You can delete any ride at any time.

3. Location

  • With your permission, the app reads your location (Core Location) only while a ride is being measured, including while the app is in the background during that ride, so that measurement survives a locked screen. It stops when the ride ends.
  • Location is used to compute distance and speed and to draw your route colored by speed. The route is stored with the ride as a list of coordinates and speeds.
  • You can use the app without granting location. Route maps, distance and speed are then omitted; scoring still works.

4. What is uploaded when you sign in

No account is needed to measure and score rides. If you sign in with Apple, the app also keeps your rides in our cloud database so friends and the leaderboard can work:

  • Rides. Each finished ride is uploaded automatically: its date, duration, distance, top speed, the two scores, the driving style, and the full ride result — which includes the route coordinates. Signing in also uploads the rides already in your local history.
  • Account. Sign in with Apple gives us only the unique user identifier Apple issues for this app. The app requests no name and no email address, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
  • Profile. A random nickname (for example "Driver-A1B2C3") is created for you. You may change it and upload an optional avatar photo.
  • Safety data. If you block someone, we store that you blocked them. If you report someone, we store the reported account, the reason you picked and the time, and we review it.
  • Technical data. Our providers process the IP address and request metadata of every connection as part of serving it.

5. Who can see what

  • Private by default. Your rides, routes and scores are readable only by you and by drivers you are mutually connected with. Database access is enforced server-side with Row Level Security, not by the app.
  • Mutual friends. A driver you and they have both added can see your recent rides, including the route maps.
  • Public leaderboard. The board can be read by anyone, including people who have not signed in. It shows your nickname, your avatar, one number for the selected category (top speed, distance, careful or aggressive driving) and the date of that ride. Routes and detailed telemetry are never on the board.
  • Avatars. Avatar images are served from a public URL so they can appear on the public board. Do not upload a photo you would not publish.
  • Sharing. A share card is created on your device only when you tap share, and goes wherever you send it.

We do not sell, rent or monetize your data, and we do not disclose it to advertisers, data brokers or insurance companies. We disclose data only where the law requires it.

6. Third-party services

  • Supabase hosts our database, authentication and avatar storage, and processes data on our instructions.
  • Mapbox renders the maps. Your device requests map styles and tiles for the area you are viewing, so Mapbox receives that area and your IP address, and the Mapbox SDK may collect usage telemetry under its own privacy policy. Route coordinates themselves are drawn on your device and are not sent to Mapbox.
  • Apple provides Sign in with Apple and App Store distribution.

Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards (standard contractual clauses) our providers offer.

7. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

  • Consent — location during a ride, and an avatar photo if you upload one. You can withdraw it in iOS Settings or by removing the photo.
  • Performance of a contract — running your account, cloud ride history, friends and the leaderboard you asked to take part in.
  • Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure and acting on reports of abusive content.

8. Retention

  • Local history: the last 100 rides, until you delete them or delete the app.
  • Cloud rides, profile and avatar: until you delete the ride, or delete your account.
  • Blocks: until you unblock the person or delete your account.
  • Reports: up to 12 months after review, so repeat abuse can be recognised.

9. Your rights and account deletion

  • Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, nickname, avatar, friend connections and every ride from our cloud database. Rides already on your iPhone stay there and can be deleted separately.
  • Delete a single ride from history at any time; it is removed from the cloud too.
  • You may request access to, correction of, a copy of (portability), restriction of or objection to the processing of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time, by writing to support@lisuvo.app. We answer within 30 days.
  • If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

10. Children

Lisuvo is not directed to children. Do not use the app if you are under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country (up to 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers uses TLS (HTTPS). Stored records are isolated per user by database-level Row Level Security policies, so one account cannot read another account's rides. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect.
